Annie Grant

Annie founded Atomic Productions in 2009 following many years experience in multimedia production for government and national organisations. Tired of watching educational videos that were little more than visual wallpaper, she wanted to produce resources that were rich in content, where pictures enhanced the messages and where contributors were allowed to ‘speak’ for themselves – whatever their age, whatever their job, however they communicated. Most recently, her work has focused on children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Annie is expert at capturing natural and unforced contributions from participants. This gives her work freshness and allows contributors to show genuine and infectious enthusiasm and good humour, which makes them more credible and persuasive than they might otherwise be. With the team at Atomic, Annie has pioneered the use of audio, alongside video, as a powerful medium for reaching target audiences.

As well as her work at Atomic, Annie works an educational policy adviser/writer for government departments and agencies and has written articles for specialist SEN publications. Her deep knowledge of current educational initiatives helps to strengthen the impact of the resources that Atomic produces.
